You may all remember, how the GST council had extended the GST return filing dates for the regions of Kodagu, Mahe and Kerala, in the month of October 2018. The extension was introduced by the government in wake of the massive floods that hit the southern part of India, a few months back. Now again, the government has been forced to extend the GST return filing dates in certain areas of Andhra Pradesh and Tamil Nadu, due to the havoc caused by Cyclone Titli and Cyclone Gaza.

Taking into consideration the disturbances caused to daily life by Cyclone Titli in the district of Srikakulam, Andhra Pradesh and by Cyclone Gaza in eleven districts of Tamil Nadu, namely – Cuddalore, Thiruvarur, Puddukottai, Dindigul, Nagapatinam, Theni, Thanjavur, Sivagangai, Tiruchirappalli, Karur and Ramanathapuram – the GST Council has decided to extend the GST Return Filing Dates. In this blog, we present to you the revised dates for filing the GST returns, declared in a notification yesterday, in the table below:
